  The shower does not have soap so you need to bring your own; there was a half empty bottle of shampoo in the shower. This is not a B&B, it is just a tiny cottage for rent.

  It is a nice enough place but we probably would not stay there again. On the website they say there is WiFi however there is actually no reliable WiFi in the cottage itself. Unless you stand in the yard or up near their house you won’t get any signal. The owners have WiFi in their house but it does not reach down to the cottage which is about 50ft away. Overall a nice place but it is quite a few blocks from the water and there is no view of the ocean or anything but the yard.

  One place I recommend visiting when on Hornby Island is the Whaling Station beach. It has truly beautiful white sand, a great place for children. Not a lot of shade there so you might want to bring an umbrella or some type of a shelter.

  Love the self-serve cabin, detached and away from the owners house. Marian and Gunther are very sweet and welcoming.
